![]() ![]() ![]() With such a large presence, his absence will be felt deeply by all those who know and love him, and he is already sorely missed. He also loved reading, history, board games, Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, sports, the Cowboys, the Sooners, fry bread, Big Cedar Lodge, Polo shirts, old cowboy movies, medium rare steaks, fishing, and cooking competitions. The only thing he loved almost as much was golf, and if it would have been possible, he likely would have spent every single day on the golf course with all the other “happy people.” He was a man with a gigantic heart, and his love for and devotion to his family and friends shone through in everything he did. Once his medical training was complete, he returned to his childhood home to serve his community for the next forty-three years. Upon his graduation from OSU he traveled with his new wife and daughter to Denver, CO where he would attend and graduate from the University of Colorado medical school. He joined the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity where he met many lifelong brothers.
